Ash78 - thanks I hope your right...but what would the brown spotting be from on cd 8 (3 days after I was done clomid days 1-5)? No I am not doing opk....have never used them. I think next month I will start BBT. Hope your big guys dropped for you today & your timely was impecable!

Not sure about the spotting. That is strange. But don't get too down. Maybe it was just something odd that means nothing! And Shemika, to finally answer your question, yes, if the shade is the same color, or darker than the control window, that indicates ovulation. Let me know what the Dr. says tomorrow. I go back tomorrow also.

Well, ladies....no luck for me this month. Trigger shot did NOT induce ovulation, and so now the follicle is too big to fertilize and is not coming down on it's own. : ( So I start Progesterone to make me start my cylce again, and get rid of the egg. The Dr. is thinking I may have too big of a cyst, so before I start Clomid again, I have to go back in to make sure it shrunk. ugh! But, he will start me on days 3-7 this time instead of 5-9.

Ok. Wen to the Dr. today and the cysts are gone which is good news. The doctor stated that my uterine linig is really thick so she sent me to do a blood pregnancy test. This makes her wonder if what she saw wasn't cysts but follicles from me just ovulating really late. She says that even if I hadn't had a period yet, the lining shouldn't be that thick. I should get the results back today or tomorrow. If its negative I will start provera to bleed off that lining and then clomid again days 3-5. She wants me to come in around cycle day 10-12 to see if I'm actually ovulating as early as I thought I was last month. Hoping for a BFP but don't really have my hopes up because I am mentally prepared to do the clomid again. Sorry ash to hear about you not ovulating. Just stay positive and it will happen.

Hi I hope it's ok that i jointhis conversation. I am 25 I have a 4 year old. I donated my eggs in april and decided to start trying after that for another baby. since the donation I have had only three periods first two were on time (june 18th) then after that had to be put on provera to make other one start in august. Again late and still no pregnancy. I have an appointment onthursday the 11th to talk about clomid. I am a little confused about how I could donate 19 eggs and then not have any or I guess not have timing after that to use any more of mine. My first pregnancy was an accident even. My egg donation went a week quicker than the norm because I was so fertile. I barely had to use any meds. I am a little nervous about clomid because of multiples. Has anyone else gone through anything similar. And is clomid about like provera as far as side effects go? I gained like 6 pounds on 10 days of that.

Well I didn't hear back about the results but I got AF on Saturday so I'm sure i'm not prego. I started clomid today (monday) and go to the RE next monday to check to see if I'm ovulating. Good luck to everyone this cycle.

Ritzie, I think I would talk to your doctor before you start on anything and ask all of those questions, just to be sure. Everyone is different. I have not gained any weight, though from Clomid. Shemika and Rowan, looks like we are in the same boat for this month!!! Hopefully it will work for one if us.

Went to the Dr. yesterday. It is my 2nd round of clomid. It was day 10. They saw to dominant follicles (one in each ovary R was 13, L was 11). I go back on Friday to see if they have matured and are ready to release. I am also having a post coital test to see how DH's sperm interacts with my mucus. Hopefully this is the month for me :) Last month was screwy due to the cysts. I'll update you on Friday.

I am glad you are still on this thing. I hope this is your month! I am also on my second round, on day 3 of my Clomid, so I have another week and a half before the doc wants to see what to make of my follicles.
Please do let us know on Friday. I have heard that Clomid messes up the cervical mucous, so I am curious to hear about this.

Went to the Dr. Friday. I had a nice big follicle but it hadn't released yet. That was cycle day 16 for me. I received an HCG shot to trigger ovulation. I went back on Monday to make sure it released (BD'd all weekend), and it had. Now we do the 2 week wait to see if I'm prego. I can do a HPT on the 3rd, but if no period by the 5th and HPT is neg, then i will need a Blood test.

Hey Shemi! I am glad to hear that it DID release. I was not so lucky last month with the shot, but I go Friday to find out how big my follicles are now after my 2nd round of Clomid and await further directions! I so hope this is your month. I am sure you are nervous about the wait. Baby dust to you!!! And please keep up on this site and let me know in two weeks what happens! I think you and I are the only ones now!

I need some help, I got on 50 mg clomid last month for the first time along with 1000mg metformin and provera to start the cycles, my husband is due home in 5 days, from Iraq where he has been for 5 months, he goes back 3 weeks later for 13 more months, we want so badly to concieve while he is home, but we only have one chance. i've scheduled my fertile days around when he is home, does anyone have any advice, i could really use it right now!

Dear Shemi and Ash, I am still reading your posts a few times a week! I go for the 12th week ultrasound tomorrow. Hard for me to give you advice on your situations, as mine was very different (problem on my husband side, not with my ovulation) but I know how you feel about the wait and about the disapointment. Don't feel like you are alone, and keep hope alive!
