Hopefully it only first appeared yesterday as I only starting BD'ing yesterday. fingers crossed

Um.. this forum is for people who are interested/pregnant with multiples... and that is it. The advertisement and encouraging use of unprescribed drugs is the business of the AMA and Web Master. These people SHOULD be notified of the things going on here... although they are on different levels of "bad" this is the same as advertising that you have child porn.... just as illegal. Wake Up.

Are you insane???? - November 7th, 2005 12:22 AM

Yes, I am an MD and yes, I have reported the advocacy of illicit and off label "prescribing" going on here. The importation of Rx meds from other countries is strictly regulated in the US at least, and for very good reasons. I am appalled at what you posters here equate with knowledge. And to those of you who said you were taking Rx Clomid under the supervision of your MD, this concern was obviously not directed at you then was it? To the poster who accuses me of using Clomid to try and extrapolate a multiple pregnancy out of a single cycle, you are ridiculous. My niece told me of this site when she, incredibly, was attempting to procur Clomid illegally. It certainly is too bad that this is anonymous event to the web master, someone is going to be severly injured and premature multiples are going to be intentionally created. Such selfish, ignorance!

Being an MD maybe you could perhaps be of assistance in answering some of the queries these ladies have, good and bad. It may make the difference in choosing to take these drugs or not. Worth a shot

Hi Shey!! Well Good Luck! I will keep my fingers crossed that you didn't miss your window. I didn't O until CD 17, but started testing for it on CD 12. I do have to say that I am not totally convinced that my AF has started. Today was very small spotting. My AF is usually lighter day 1 then very heavy CD2-3, but never this small. So tomorrow I will know more.

Shey - November 7th, 2005 9:56 PM

Hi Shannon,
When I was pregnant with my son I had spotting for three days. I thought my period was going to start but never actually got there. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I also had no preg symptoms whatsoever, not even sore breasts until one week after af was due. I think I may have made the window as I was still getting the fertile type mucus yesterday. Hope so, if not what a waste of a month. I am due to see my Dr in a few weeks but do you know how many cycles they normally allow on Clomid?

mama-beans - November 7th, 2005 11:21 PM

Shey, no more then 6 ( according to the fert specialist I see) as more then 6 really increases your chances of eventually developing Cancer, Cysts, etc. Plus, she said if you haven't gotten pregnant after 6 cycles of Clomid, it probably won't work for you anyway, and you need to try something else. Good Luck!

Shey - November 8th, 2005 12:02 AM

Thanks Mama Beans, I thought it was three so it gives me an extra three months. pheeew. : ) hopefully I wont need it though.

Hi Shey, well AF showed up in full force. So am now on day 5 started clomid again. I am feeling good about this month for us!!!!

Shey - November 11th, 2005 12:20 AM

Hi Shannon,

I surely hope so!! I will be able to test possibly next weekend if I have a test I can use early enough. Do you use OPK's those little buggers are costing me a small fortune!! :) I had trouble distinguishing my positive surge days as it looks pos from cycle day 14 through to cycle day 17!!! Plenty of BD, lucky husband... lol.....

Shannon - November 14th, 2005 9:58 PM

Shey I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Let me know when you test. I have just finished my clomid today so I will start the BD. I do use the OPK I have never had success with them in the past, but did with this last cycle cuz before I was using first morning urine, which I have now learned not to. I bought them really cheap from EBay I got 20 OPK and 5 PG tests for like $9.00.

Shannon - November 21st, 2005 3:02 PM

Shey did you test yet? How is it going?

Shey - November 21st, 2005 6:33 PM

AF showed up this morning!!! Its such a bummer, I'm kind of glad though as I was a bit relaxed on the party drinks this month !! : )
How are you going? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Shannon - November 21st, 2005 11:21 PM

So sorry to hear about your AF. I think I may have had positive OPK yesterday. I didn't think it was that dark but today it was faint like it was all over. We did BD last night and will again today so hopefully will work. Good luck for your next month and keep me posted.

Shey - November 21st, 2005 11:26 PM

Hi Shannon,

Things are sounding pretty positive!!!! You know what they say, it doesn't matter how faint the positive if its there its there!!! Let me know how you go.

Shannon - November 30th, 2005 6:44 PM

HeY Shey I did finally get a positive OPK on CD 19 am now CD 25 so still in the waiting game. How are things going for you.
