I was just wondering if you multiple moms could tell me how soon you felt the symtoms of the multiple pregnancy... Was it 2 days after concept. 3 days , 2 weeks ... ect?
If you could also list the symtoms you were having that would be great.
Thanks.

I didn't feel anything until 10 dpo, the first thing that happened was my bb's started to hurt. That was my only symptom for a long time, didn't have any other pg symptoms until I was about 8 - 10 weeks pregnant. I never got any morning sickness.

I actually felt earlier symptoms with my singleton. What I felt was very tired. I found out I was pregnant a week later and the severe m/s came. With the twins, I had no symptoms and no idea. The only clue I had but didn't even think of it was I took a hpt a week before I supposed to. It was a cheap test and you were supposed to wait a day after you AF was due. When I took it, it turned instantly dark since my HCG levels were so high. I didn't think "twins" though. I though eptopic, cancer, molar....etc. Everything that could cause it that was bad crossed my mind. I found out it was twins at 12 weeks during my first u/s.

My symptoms were definately different than with my singleton pregnancies. Firstly, I was waking up to go to the bathroom at night from about 2 weeks after conception, this never happened so early. Secondly, a major sign to me that something was different was that I had an insatiable hunger ALL the time! I was eating HUGE amounts, and then still hungry! This is usually so unlike me. Finally, when I used to wake up in the morning, still lying in bed, if I put my hand on my stomach, I could actually feel the hard little ball of my uterus. I could never do this before.

Oddly enough, I suffered barely no morning sickness. They say it's usually worse with twins.. not that I was complaining on that score!

Good luck with everything.

Hello, I am 10 weeks pregnant with Twins, and I don't have any symtoms... I am only tired, all day long... otherwise I feel great... I have gained about 6 pounds already... But the Doctor said he is not concerned with that... I'm not sure what other symtoms there are... Sorry I wish I could be of more help...

my main early symptom was extreme tiredness...i felt like I just couldn't function and I'd come home from work so tired I could barely stagger. that started about a week after conception. other symptoms, morning sickness and stuff didn't start till about 8 weeks.

Hi, Iori ann & silencingtearsofhope! I have some questions for you both. This month I went to my ob and on my CD12 (10-2-06) I had wo mature follicles at 23mm each. What were your follicle sizes and how soon did you know you had twins? The nurse said there was a chance of twins if I conceived this month, but just wondering about you all. I have been feeling extremely exhausted and sometimes to the point I can barely stay awake during the day and night. Sometimes I don't even want to eat, just sleep all the time. I still have to wait until Oct 23rd to do the Preg Test. Any ideas. Thanks, I appreciate it.

Starting around day 7. I was very tired and emotional, but I was also on prometrium and that can do that. My breast became very sore and hard on the side at about day 11. Another thing was that I thought I would die of thirst and had to constantly drink water.
