With Twins Can Preg Tests Have Positive Results Early?

I just found out I am pregnant. When I have taken preg tests before I normally have to wait tell day of missed period to get a positive result(even "early result" tests) My period is not even due and im so sick and have bright positive preg tests. I know my last period was a real period and I wasnt preg before. Could this quick, high level of homone be a sign of twins or more? Did anyone preg with twins have this happen? Im usualy not even sick until wk 7@the earliest. Help!! Im am just wondering what to expect.

From your symptoms, you could be having twins. But from my experience, I couldn't even get a BFP until I was 2 weeks late and I'm expecting twins! I ovulated late, so my dates are off - but in my situation, it had nothing to do with how early I could test. Congrats on your pregnancy!!
