What can be done to aliviate lower back pain?

I'm no doctor, but from personal experience my lower back hurts the following day after I do too much activity. I find that even light lifting or bending down to pick things up aggravates it. More rest should help. I also try to use "what used to be my abs" as much as possible to hold my posture rather than relying on my back.

I’m no doctor but from personal experience my lower back bothers me the following day after too much activity. Even too much walking, light lifting and bending down to pick things up seems to aggravate it. I found that resting as much as possible helps lots. I also try to use “what’s left of my abs” to support my posture rather than relying on my back.

In addition to watching your activities, you might want to look at your sleep surface. I used (and still do) an anatomic mattress pad. I think you can still get them get from qvc.com or sleepwarehouse.com. After that, get hubby to give back massages daily!
