Could I Be Pregnant On My Period

i have a dilemma recently i was engaged to his guy ive known for 6 years but we were only together for 2 1/2 months before i got saved we were staying together and trying to concieve but now where seperated because hes trying to be for "himself",ive heard rumors about being pregnant on your period but never thought twice about it till i started having these terrible backpains.My periods will come on but there unpredictable one minute there heavy and regular the next they last for like 3-5 days and have little to no spotting,could i still be pregnant and if so how do i tell my ex without making it seemlike im trapping him at the last minute?

How old are you first of all? I doubt you are pregnant if you are getting your period.....if you want to know if you are pregnant, you need to take test, that is the only way you will know for sue.
