I just found out that I'm pg which was confirmed by my regular dr by blood test. I called the OB's office and they don't want to see me until 8-12 weeks-July 15th. Is that normal?

Yep, totally normal. I didn't see my OB until 12 weeks. I hated it, but it is normal. Unless of course something happens, like you start to bleed or something and then you need to go in right away. Congrats on your pregnancy!!

My doctor did the same thing. I would call in and get a prescription for prenatal vitamins, though.

I found out that I was pregnant when I was 5 wks along and they didn't schedule my appt until my 9th wk

I just found out I'm pg, but my annual exam was already scheduled for next week. I called the dr's office, and they said I just needed to "change the type of exam." So I'm now going in for a "nurse workup" before I see my OB. I have no idea what that is!

Yep, I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks and don't have an appointment until my 9 weeks. I'm so worried something will happen but my midwife doesn't even do an ultrasound until about 4 month mark. Just hang in there I know I am.
