I'M CONFUSED

I have never had a monthly cycle until I was put on birth control to "regulate" it. I stopped taking the over 4 months ago due to incredible pains and vomitting no one could explain; not even my doctor. Lately, alot of people have been asking me if I am pregnant. There is no way I would know. I can't say because I missed me period... so what do I do? Could it be possible?
