SheaAnders, Thanks for this. I have been to my doc's today for a blood test so should get results in 2 days, the bleeding has reduced alot today only a little on pad. I had a long bleed in the first 2 weeks of my last pregnancy and small bleeds throughout. so i am aware of the potential probs. also i think that this is just my body's way of dealing with pregnancy! I don't feel worried either which is usually a good sign, i think deep down you know when something is wrong. Thanks again for advice

im in a wierd situation myself.i had a miscarriage in the summer and since then my periods have been a bit strange and moved from end of month to middle (roughly 17th/18th), and last week i missed a period and so am over a week late.so thought could be pregnant so i did a test and it was neg.but today ive found myself to be bleeding, so think im probably having a period or its this inplantation bleeding but i think it is probably a period.but i dont know why i was so late coming on though.i wasnt having the painful cramps u have with periods just a bit of cramping in my stomach and sometimes either side so i dont know and so confused.and driving me crazy!i guess ill just have to watch this space, as noone probably has any answers really!

i'm glad i found this site.. you all seem very helpful. my question is.. i think i ovulated on the 9th of dec. (my last period was nov. 25) my hubby and i ttc around the 9th.. i've felt fine up until the week before my period. I started having strange sharp pains that come and go on my right side and around my belly button. (i heard the side thing was a sign of implantation.. even though i've had no bleeding). i felt VERY BLOATED AND BIG!! i think i gained 7 lbs. that week from being so bloated.. i've never felt that big!! i've had sev. light headaches and breast tenderness here and there.. no sickness though.. but very hungry.. my stomach won't let me sleep at night until i get food in it .. it growls so loud and almost makes me sick if i don't eat..which is very abnormal for me!!
i took a hpt on dec. 24, and 27 and they were both neg... today makes the 5th day that i'm late.. what do u guys think?? i've never been prego.. so i for sure don't know!!! but i do know the sharp pains in my side and stomach have gone away and so has the major bloating .. although i swear my lower abdomen is harder i can' t suck in for anything!! any suggestions??

I had implantation "bleeding", but it was more like spotting- not even enough to need a big pad. But I think everyone is different so it could be more for some. Good luck!

I think I am experiencing IB but I'm not sure.. My AF is suppose to start on Jan 8th and I've only had a very light pink discharge.. Also I've been very tired, all I wanna do is sleep and my body aches all over.. I don't wanna take a HPT just yet cause after so many BFNs.. just makes me just dont want to see another one again!!

This is getting frustrating. I had a mc in Sept after having had two positive preg tests that only showed positive about 4 days after pink/red/brown spotting that was about 3 days after period was due.
Now I am running about 5 days late for my period. Getting the same type of spotting but a bit more clotty. No positive preg tests at home or urine at the doc. I am feeling pg though with the headaches, slight cramping, sensitivity to smell, and just general feeling. Having it be more clotty I am prone to thinking I am not but it could still be implantation bleeding right??

Hi I dont know if anyone has experienced the same but my period is 2 weeks late, i had a (-) pregnancy test and i bleed so lightly that i didnt need a pad for a couple of hours....could this be pregnancy?

It's amazing that this thread has been going on since 2005, so I'll add my story too, it's helped a lot to hear everyone elses stories.
I felt cramping 9dpo and on 11dpo I got brown discharge when I wiped after going to the toilet, I was about to take a pregnancy test, and thought it was my period, but did the test anyway for the hell of it. I'm addicted to hpt's! Anyway, I thought it was negative and put it my bag, but looked again 5 minutes later and saw a very very faint line. I thought I was imagining it. So I did another one in the morning and got the same thing. It is 13po now and I have had 4 + test but all very faint. Have been spotting brown stingy stuff when I wipe, and a tiny amount on a panty liner. My temperature is still up too, and my boobs are sore, so I am hopeful. I had a miscarriage 2 months ago at 11 weeks so I am feeling like the same thing will happen again. I am seeing the doctor tomorrow to get a blood test to confirm, and check if the levels are doubling. Good luck to everyone, will update with any more info later.

Ladies, I have been reading all of your stories. Sometime you have to hear about someone else who is going through what you are going through. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a year now. We got pregnant in January but had a miscarriage. It was very painful and I am stilll getting over it. All my friends are pregnant and I love them but it's hard to be around them. I am on day 32 and on day 25 I thought I was having implantation bleeding. 2 days for very light brown discharge. I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative. It is so disappointing to take a negative test. I so want it to be positive. Waiting takes forever. I really need someone to talk to if anyone is going through the same thing. Good luck to everyone.

I am so confused myself, i have a 30 day cycle and my last period was march 4th and i had intercourse everynight from the day after my period ended until the 21st AF is due on thursday, but today at 6:00 this morning i went to the bathroom and there was pinkish blood on the tp. its now 5:30 and i still have it except its like a light to medium flow but not enough to soak a pad. but what really gets me is i usually have severe cramps that have me bent over in pain, and needing to take medication when AF comes ....but today i didn't even have to take anything at all and the cramps would come and go..which they've never ever done before .....i'm so confused can this be implantation or AF ? is anyone having the same problem..please help!!

ok i started my period 21st of march and it ended on the 27th of march i had sex twice once on the 23rd and once on the 29th my periods are regular and sometimes the day i get off my period there is brown but its very light so that would be old blood...but like i said im regular so i should have ovulated around the 3rd 4th of april...im just now figuring out the the whole cycle thing about when i ovulate...but any way on the 8th of april i had some reddish/pinkish discharge then it turned brown and it has been brown for 4 days now i just have to wear a pad a day...and i have tried looking up so many different possibilities that it could be an i just keep getting the implantation bleeding...is there any more possibilities that this could be??? i dont wanna give my hopes up.... can anyone help me...

well i think ii might be pregant bcuz last night ii spotted wat i belive to be implantation bleeding... usually me period does start around dis time but is heavy right now it is still light ii have cramps now nd thenn but does that mean i am pregnant.. if i am ii hope for the best

I'm 27. I normally have a cycle of 26 days. I'm not sure if I'm pregnant, but here are my symptoms......I have been feeling really wet when I should be feeling very dry before a period (right?). My period was supposed to come on the 7th (tuesday), although web pages say the 8th. I took a HPT on the 9th (thursday) and it was negative. Later that night, I saw a brown spotting when I wiped after using the bathroom. That was the first time I saw this. I thought my period was here. However....the next day (friday), all day, I saw nothing. The only thing I saw when I wiped was two very, very, VERY tiny brown SPOTS. Just two very little dots (like a pen dot) on the toilet paper. It looked like tissue or a very tiny part of a blood clot, and it was brown. Very weird. I caved and finally went to my doctor that afternoon (yesterday) so he can send me to a lab for blood work and get a pregnancy test done, which will be done on monday (tomorrow). Last night I didnt sleep at all. I went to the bathroom at 6am and when I wiped, I saw bright red. I thought my period was here. I put on a pad and went to sleep. When I woke up a few hours later at 12:30pm-ish (today), I went to the bathroom, and again I saw nothing. I went to the bathroom at 3:00pm and saw NOTHING!! I keep checking myself and nothing is there. Sometimes I'll see a clear white kind of discharge (very little) when I wipe, or the two tiny brown spots, but still no period. The other day and today I even went as far as checking to see if my cervix is hard and low. I've read that before a period, thats where it should be. Well, its not as low as it normally would be before a period (I've done this in the past). Nor is it as hard as it should be. Its hard, but there is some softness to it. Hard to explain. I've felt it be a lot harder before my period came, and its not as hard as that. Anyways....I've had tingly/itch breasts and nipples for a week or more. Two people at different times have said they look bigger. I'm gassy. I'll crave something but after I'm done cooking it I dont want it anymore. It just seems "gross" to eat, like....why the hell did I want this? I feel little "flutters" in my stomach on the right side which I think could be from gas cause I'm pretty positive its way to early to feel movement....but I dont fart or burp after the flutters. I dunno, just really weird things are going on. My last period was september 12th. It was not like any other period I had. It was deep red, very watery and lasted 5 days and not the normal 4. The period before that was august 18th, it ended on the 22nd and it was a normal period. My fiance and I had sex on the 27th (9 days after my period started, 5 days after it ended)....which was just two or three days before ovulation (supposedly) and sperm can live in a female for 5 days. However, we used the "pull-out" method. We have tried to get pregnant before (for a long time) without any protection, no pulling out, no nothing....but we had no luck. He had an injury when he was little so we thought maybe he had a low sperm count. We just kinda "gave up".....trying, but not trying. Well anyways, here it is, october 11th and I am 4 days late. I'm wondering if that bright red blood this morning was implantation bleeding. I dont feel pregnant and my HPT was negative. But I have the tingly breasts and the weird spotting. With my son, I knew I was pregnant right away. I didnt even need a test. My only sign was that I would wake up feeling sick to my stomach for an hour, and then it went away. And it only lasted a week. I'm not stressed, I'm a SAHM. How stressed can I be? lol. My daily routine is pretty much the same. I hang out with my son. I make him stuff to eat when hes hungry, we go to the park. I wouldnt say I'm stressed. Mind you, I have not changed anything in my diet. I still eat the same things (good and bad) that I've always been eating. Please keep in mind, I NEVER GET ANY SIGNS THAT MY PERIOD IS ON ITS WAY!!! Normally I wake up and its there, or I go to the bathroom and its there. Spotting, but not as light as this. I dont even get cramps while I have my period. The last time I got a cramp I was 14 lol. I know you guys are not doctors, but I could really use the advice from anyone who can help. Does it sound like I'm pregnant? I hope so! Has anyone had the same experiance and ended up pregnant? Even with a partner who (possibly) has a low sperm count using the pull-out method? *fingers, toes, arms, legs and eyes are crossed* lol

I'm 18-years-old and thinking I may be pregnant. I haven't felt "myself" the past few weeks. I have been extremely tired, I seem to be hungry all the time, and I started having weird "twinges" in my abdomin that alternated sides. I am due to start my period Oct. 20. This morning (Oct. 19) I woke up with horrible cramps. I went to the restroom and the tp had a very very faint pink stain on it. When I went to the restroom again, there was a thicker, brown discharge on the tissue. I put on a liner and checked back in about 30 mins. When I did, there was darker blood on the tissue and the smallest of stains on the liner. The cramps were still really bad. The bleeding increased and there was some clotting. Near the middle of the day I noticed a change in the bleeding. It's more pinkish in color and the clots are brownish. The cramps are not quite as painful. The bleeding seems to come and go. And possibly tmi, but I don't think it smells like period blood. I have never been irregular in my cycles so for me to start bleeding a day early is odd. I think it may be implantation bleeding. Have any women experience the same type of bleeding? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
