Lynn, have you done any pregnancy tests? I had impantation bleeding at day 27 which I thought was my period and it went away. I did a pregnancy test day 30 which was negative. I had more spotting on day 32 and tested again on day 34 and it was positive. So, you might want to test to be safe. Hope everything works out.

I was about a week late for my pd, today I wiped and had brown come out, can that still be implantation bleeding??

And any others wondering about pregnancy and implantation bleeding: If you're wondering if you're pregnant, take a home pregnancy test or go see your doctor, those are the only conclusive ways to tell. Going by symptoms alone is no way to determine pregnancy. And if you're concerned about your discharges, see your doctor, he/she's the best person to discerne if it's normal or abnormal. For your health (and potentially your baby's) go see your doctor!

Hi Laura: Thank you so much for your input. I have not taken a test yet - I plan to tomorrow. My other concern is a big one....has anybody been through a pregnancy after having a LEEP procedure where a nice chunk of your cervix has been taken? I'm pretty scared about that. The only thing my dr told me was that they wouldn't stitch me up for at least 3 months because of the common occurrence of miscarriages in those months in case the pregnancy was not viable. Any info or help? Thanks so much. I will let you know tomorrow what the test said. No discharge at all today but still very sore nipples. Emotional rollercoaster~~ :)

Basal Body Temperature....I forgot...it goes up and stays up until when?? I forgot what temp. you are at when you are pregnant?? Isn't that a way to tell??

Hi. I am brand new to this, so I hope i am doing this right. First, I wanted to say something to whoever posted about having the very light positive pregnancy tests. I have had 2 pregnancies. The first was my son, the 2nd, a miscarriage this past March. Each time, I did the hpt's and they were both very light. Also, very light again when they were done at the doctor's office. My doctor told me that it didn't matter that it was really light, any line, no matter how light or dark is a positive. Also, I wanted to say to Chevonne, I can so relate to you! I swear, the first time we decided to have a baby, I just said "o.k., i'm ready" and was immediately pregnant! Same thing happened with my 2nd preg., which was unfortunately the miscarriage. This month was the first month we could try again after my D&C. about 8 dpo, I started mildly cramping for about 4 days and had one tiny pink spot also. I was due for my period on the 19th, or 20th of this month. i was positive it was coming because I had all of the usualy syptoms. I also took 3 hpt's, all were negative. We,, my period never came (i am extremely regular) so I started doing some research and came across this site. After reading all of this, I called my doctor's office and they told me I could come in for a blood test. So, I went to do that today and am crossing my fingers that they have the results by tomorrow. I swear, the second I left the office, I started having more cramps, went to the bathroom and had the brown discharge and also some blood. However nothing heavy, and still ahving mild cramps. I am so confused and really scared because of my last miscarriage. One more thing (sorry this is so long!!!!) that might make some of you feel better. My sister is 14 weeks preg. She wentin for her ultrasound last week, thinking she was 8 weeks. The tech told her she was a month further along than she thought. My sister was like, how could that be, I had a period for 3 days last month. The tech said that obviously wasn't a period, most likely implantation. I will post as soon as I get my blood results and let you all know.

Yea I had taken an hpt, but then the brown wiping came, the next day I got my period! :(

i have been reading all your posts and i wish all of you the best of luck. I had I.V.F last year but it failed. I have just done it again and i got a positive result, it was a very faint but the nurse saaid all they need is a faint line.But i have had brown spotting with stringy bits in (i no that sounds awfull, sorry) there hasnt been enough for a pad not even enough for a panty liner.Its a brown discharge really.Its been happening for 4 days now usually i would get this for a day tops then i would have a normal period.So i am hoping and praying that this is IB.This waiting game is terrible.When you have I.V.F they put the fertilized egg back and you have too wait 2 weeks to find out if your pregnant, now I,ve had a + result even though faint, i now have too wait 2 weeks for a scan too see if they fave implanted properly or even if its still there.I have been spotting for four days i did another PT today and the faint line is still there.This is the final time that i,m going to do this as the stress is just too much to cope with.I did,nt even no that IB existed until now.I have slight cramping aswell but no signs of pregnancy.But over the years i have learnt that you can almost convince yourself that you have all the symptons of pregnancy i have thought i,ve been pregnant on many occasion.I really do wish all of you the very best of luck.

i think all your stories/scenarios are great for all of us. Very few women confide about these concerns openly (of course internet makes it easier). I ovulated on june 14th and am supposed to start the 28th. I haven't had a + preg test but am sooo hopeful that the next couple days will bring good news. Last month I was so sure that we were pregnant I purchased some summer maternity clothes...jeez i know i brought on the bad karma to myself! This month I've had the same symptoms (but w/o nausea and more peeing) but just keep telling myself it's not our month, it's not our month. I honestly have no clue if we are or if we arent, I just already feel sad in case it is a disappointment. I wish you all lots of fertility and healthy pregnancies! Wanting it soo bad can only make us that much more appreciative when it happens!

thanks michelle nothing has changed yet but i will keep you posted. I am convinced that this is the start of my period as every day that passes it seems to get heavier.But theres nothing I can do nature has to take its course I`m going to buy another first responce early pregnancy test today and see what happens.My head is done in thinking about it. One of the worst things is my partner is still convinced I`m pregnant its going to be even more of a let down for him if I`m not. Good luck to everyone whos trying and kep on trying. x

Chevonne - My dates are also the same - let me know how it turns out for you...I will do the same. (Had spotting June 24/25 and now two days of nothing...hmmm)

Lynn - I also had a LEEP procedure back in 1998. I have not been pregnant yet...but have not tried until now. My doctors explanation of the procedure is that one LEEP procedure should not hurt your chances at all or make it a difficult pregnancy. If you have to have repeated LEEP procedures than your cervix can become week and make it difficult to carry the baby. But the body is amazing - the way it can heal.

I think it may be your period!! But if it goes away or is still light I would to a pregnancy test within 24 hrs. That will put your mind at rest

Looking back I realise I had implantation bleeding with both my pregnancies. Both times I assumed I had my period, was a bit surprised that it was lighter than usual then only realised around the 8-wk mark that I was pregnant.

Am now in situation of wondering whether it's happening again. Am more onto it as very much wanting another baby. Guess I can only wait to see.
