Jade, I am sure you will find out how far along you are when you go to the dr. But my guess would be to count from May 25th as your June bleeding sounds like implantation bleeding. I had the same thing twice and was pregnant both times. Good luck.

Hi everyone, I have a bit of a weird one... I came off the pill about one year ago because my husband and I wanted to try for a baby. Doctor recommended we use condoms until I had had one 'normal' bleed. 8 months later I still had nothing, went to doctors, she said that it takes a long time for the pill to come out of some women’s systems. So carried on using condoms, then about 3 weeks ago decided to stop using them. Then about 2 weeks ago I started bleeding really lightly but it carried on for 12 days then stopped. Preg test says neg, anyone have any idea what’s going on? Could I be pregnant and this is implantation bleeding? I don't know if it is or if it’s my period returning... I just think it’s weird that after all this time of no periods it decided to show up as we started to have unprotected sex? Or maybe it’s something entirely different? Help!!

Hey guys....I was just doing a little surfing the net to find out why I am having irregular bleeding. I am 39 years old and I have just decided that I want a baby after years of saying that I was never going to have one. We have been trying for about 10 months now with no luck, so I decided to buy an ovulation test kit to give us the best chance to conceive. I started ovulating last tuesday and we had sex everyday( much to my partners delight ) to make sure we had the best chance of falling pregnant. It has been about 6 days since then and now I find that I am bleeding. It is only a small amount and is very different to my normal period. I have never had spotting between periods before and this has been very worrying for me. I am glad that I came across this site because I have never heard of Implantation Bleeding and I am hoping that this is what I have. I will go see my doctor tomorrow and find out for sure, but I would just like to thank you guys for all the useful information that I have obtained here. xxx

8-9 DPO OVULATION I GOT A POSITIVE OPK ON CD 15 DID THE BD ON CD 15 YESTERDAY CD 24 I HAD SOME MINOR SPOTTING NOW TODAY NOTHING IS IT POSSIBLE THAT IT WAS IMPLANTATION? IF IT WAS WHEN CAN I TAKE AN HPT?

My husband and I are trying to conceive and hoping again to be pregnant. My period should start today or tomorrow. Today I've started having just a little bit of a light brown discharchge which I've also heard can be implantation bleeding. I don't know...wishful thinking...I've learned you really can't count on anything as being a sign until you get a positive pregnancy test. I've had nausea, had sore breasts, and headaches off and on for the last couple of weeks but I've had those symptoms before...sometimes pregnant and mostly not.

My husband and I have been trying for a little over a year now to have a baby. We've conceived twice with both times ending in a miscarriage. I think the first time was the worst because we were just so hopeful. It all seemed to be happening so easy. We had only been trying for two months. When we went to our first 8 week appointment, there was no heartbeat. I had to have 2 D&Cs. They were not able to get everything the first time because my uterus is retroverted. We then could not try for 4 months after that because both times they had punctured my uterus. The second time I miscarried on my own just a few days after getting the + hpt. This is our fourth month trying after our last miscarriage. I'll keep you posted. Good luck to everyone!

Leeann... Your doctor might tell you the same thing,,, my doctor has told me and from things that I've read that it is best to have sex every other day instead of every day. The quality of the sperm is better that way. Sperm can last for up to four days anyway. Hope that helps.

Lynn- Sounds like we are on the same cycle together. Same situation as well. Period due today. Slight cramping and some brown discharge. Not too sure what to make of this but I have been nauseated on and off for the past 5 days and some sort of metallic taste in my mouth. I think my mind is playing tricks on me??? I am probably getting my period and have wishful thinking that I am pregnant!!

Jodie- I had a strange metallic taste in my mouth with my first pregnancy. I've read that it could be a sign of a surge in the level of hcg. Good luck!

I stopped having the discharge yesterday and tomorrow I will be officially late. If I don't start by tomorrow morning then I will test. Time will tell.

My discharge has quit. Should I take a hpt? I am not sure how long to wait after this has stopped to test and see

Jodie- If your period is fairly regular and you are late and have not started yet then you might want to test.
I tested this morning and it was positive!!! I'm just trying to be positive that this time nothing will go wrong.

Mary-I am not sure what it looks like. I am just as confused as you. I am due to get my period tomorrow and also having some bleeding. It started out brown and then after we had sex last night it was bright red. It is still red today but very very light. Only showing when I wipe. I have also had some pregnancy signs but the same as everyone else it could be pms signs as well. Has anyone had this happen after sex?

i had sex 9 days ago, according to the ovulation calculator, i was ovulating on the days i had sex. my period is not due for another week, but i am having very light pink spotting only when i wipe. i didn't have that with my first pregnancy. i know this is sad, but i just lost the man i love cuz of my jealousy, and it's desperate but i really want to be pregnant. he and i got pregnant a few years back, but we lost the baby, and i have resented and not trusted him for years. cuz he is friends with girls i can't even meet. can someone tell me, is it possible that this is implantation bleeding? is it to soon to take a pg test?

This website has been a lifesaver! I thought I was going crazy! I have felt that I am pregnant pretty much since the day I hopefully got pregnant. I have been so nauseated,worn out, and bloated. My boobs haven't hurt- but I don't remember them hurting with my daughter.Anyway- I started spotting yesterday very lightly- it was dark brown- then went to dark red and now back to brown- Never getting heavy, I have just been wearing a pantyliner. I took a test anyway and it had a really faint line-but it was there. I am going to test agin tom. just to make sure. I keep feeling like maybe I am kidding myself and once again I am going to be disappointed. :(
I'll let ya'll know what I find out.

Hi everyone......new here. I am desperate for some answers to what is going on with me! I just had a baby 4 months ago and my periods have been regular and come every 29 days since I had her. My husband and I have been using withdrawal method and we had a "mishap" the exact time I would have been ovulating last month. (He pulled out and we had sex again immediately after he pulled out.) Anyway, I am not due for my period until next Tuesday (8-9). We had sex again 8-3 and I started bleeding after and then it stopped. It started up again the next evening and was a pinkish color and then I didnt see anything until last night. Now its bright red and looks like a period, but for the last couple of days I have been nauseous, dizzy, tired, headaches and lower back pain. My doc gave me a pt Wednesday, but it came out negative. They said to wait until Monday to do another one. I don't know what to think! I feel like I am pregnant but the test says no and I have this period "like" thing going on! Can anyone tell me what could be going on?? Monday seems SO far away! Thank you!
