I lost my plug on Saturday and ever since then I have had little spurts of fluid--just enough to wet my panties all day long. (today is now Wednesday) I went to the doc to make sure my water wasn't leaking and she said it was not that. Is this normal to have this wet discharge and is it part of losing my mucous plug over time or should I be worried and go back to the doc again? Every now and then when I wipe--it is still slimy but the wet bursts that I am experienceing are just that--wet nothing sticky or slimy anymore.

Hi Suzy, I am 33 weeks and am experiencing the same thing I have been losing my mucus plug for like a week and a half now and I also get spurts of wet in my panties all day long.My doctor tested my urine and my bags of water have not ruptured so she said it is probably the babies head pushing down on my bladder making it leak urine a little bit.....Don't stress yourself out about it if your doctor said it's fine then they are more than likely right...good luck girl..

hi! i am currently 37 and a half weeks pregnant, and on friday, i lost my mucous plug and it is now monday and no water breakage or contractions. when is labor going to start? my underwear seems to be wet all the time too and my husband thinks maybe my water has broken slowly, but if it did, wouldn't it be warm and gushing? good luck and i hope you have the baby soon.

Wear a pad girls! It'll keep your panties from getting wet & uncomfortable and you'll also be embarassment free!
