I am almost 20 weeks along. last week in the middle of the night i got up to pee. When I wiped there was this clear/yellow tinted discharge on the tp. And a lot of it - I was like What is that?. I wiped again and that was it. I don't really have a whole lot of discharge on a daily basis. I am scared this means I will be going into preterm labor. could that have been my mucous plug?

Hi Lynn. I lost my plug about 7 weeks before birth. When I asked my doc about it he said that there's alot of debate between gynobs that the plug actually exists. They're all blokes I'm sure. The loss of the plug does noy mean that labour is on the way and I have read too that it can come away any time and replenishes itself. I ask your doc when you're there next but personally wouldn't stress about it.
