I really don't want to sound like a bad person, but i am just so anxious for my child to come. The doctors told me that my cervix is 3 cm and i guess the average is 4 cm. Does that mean that my son will come early? Also i wanted to know when the earliest you can try to jump start your pregnancy is, with your child coming out healthy and all. I dont want to sound bad im just so anxious. Im 22 Weeks now, i know that is to early but i was curious when i can start trying all those lil tricks to get him into this world! Thnks!

I don't think it's safe to tamper with what nature intended. My daughter was born at 36 weeks, which should have been safe, but she had to spend two weeks in the NICU on oxygen. Besides, babies are so much easier to take care of when they're still inside...just rest as much as you can, and try to get things organized, because once your baby is born, you'll be shocked at how much time and care they require.

I went 2 days over with my son, and we tried all of the tricks---bottom line is they will come when they are ready.
