dorothy: u can take an at home pregnancy test the first day of ur missed period. sometimes u can still have an irregular period if u r preg.

I would like to get a reply to my sutation that I have right now. I am 20 days late for my period.I have been having soreness to my nipples for the pass last week. I took a pg test bue it came back Neg.This is not normal for me because my period is normal ,I come on all the time around the same time never late some times early.So can I get some advice or some thing please reply asap.

if u have a low Hcg level, then a urine test would show up negative. ask ur doctor if u can get a blood test and explain to him the situation u r in.

I will do that .I took another today and it came back the same neg.I still have not come on yet I am not worried about it it's just been so long since I've been thougth some thing like this I only have one child that is 8yrs old that is y I'm asking for advice.

Pregnancy tests don't lie, if it says you are pregnant, then you are. There are a couple other things that can cause a positive test. If you had an ovarian cyst, they sometime produce the hormone detected on hpt's. But 99% if it says you are then you are. Make an appt. with your dr and start prenatal care very soon. Especially if you have already missed 2periods, you are probably anywhere from 8-12wks along already. Good luck.
