Implantation Bleeding

i am due for my period today and i got it on the first but it only lasted a day and a half. it was kinda heavy and it looked like there was tissue in it could it be implantation bleeding or is it my period and all in my head . i have been trying to have a baby for 2 years i have been to the doctors about 7 months ago and they gave me metforin to see if that works and so far nothing. i do not have diabetes they said that i might have pcos and i might have caught it before i have any cysts.
