Regular Cycle After BCP????

I have been off the pill since January and have had regular cycles (30-33 days). In April, we traveled abroad and I was sick with a virus and my cycle jumped to 40 days. We also "tried" for the first time that month, so I thought I was preggo. We "tried" again this month every other day on days 13, 15, 17, and 19. Today is day 35 and I am waiting until after 40 to test just in case becasue I do not want a BFN. The thing is, I felt my O pain on my right side on day 16/17, had cm and all that. My temps are still up but that could be b/c AF is coming too.
WHAT ARE YOUR EXPERIENCES WITH HOW LONG IT TOOK TO REGULATE AFTER THE PILL..COULD I BE NORMAL FOR 2 MONTHS AND THEN NOT??? (I was regular before the pill.. 30-33 days) Any help input would be appreciated!! LOL!!!

I hope you are pregnant! Sounds good with the high temps. I stopped the pill on May 10th and by May 30th I was pregnant. I have heard that two things can happen when stopping the pill: You can be pretty irregular for a while or you can really ovulate well. I guess if you have been fairly regular you and I both had the second choice work for us. Are you experiencing any other symptoms? My first big sign was sore nipples.

Nothing really out of the ordinary. I have a pulling sensation in my inguinal area, and constipation??? but that is all. I broke down and took a HPT today, and it was -. I am going to wait and test again in a week if I still do not get AF. LOL!!!

If you think you ovulated in the 16th or 17th it is probably still to early. My BFP was only showing 14 days after my ovulation. I had taken one on day 12 and it was -, then again on day 13 with first response and it was a super faint barely noticeable +, and then on day 14 with clearblue easy digital. That is when I knew for sure. Good luck!
