but i thought ovulation and pregnancy go hand to hand. i mean you would have to ovulate first?

If you have sex with several partners while you are ovulating, it becomes very difficult to determine who the father is with out a paternity test.

ok, i understand the several partners thing. what i want to find out is sperm last up to 72 hours right. so that would mean my first sex partner which that condom broke with no ejaculation but possible pre-cum did not last when i started to ovulate on the 18th which was very low fertility????

A sperm cell can live for up to five (some sources say seven) days inside a vagina; which provides the sperm with an ideal living environment. This means that one can become pregnant a whole five days after intercouse, even if the egg isn't released until the fifth day. So still it is impossible to be sure which of the men you slept with is your baby's father.

I think the odds would be on your boyfriend. You had sex with him more often, and closer to the time of ovulation. You don't say what kind of protection you had with the b/f, but let's guess that you were on some kind of guilt trip and took a few chances. Even so, the only way to be absolutely sure would be with a paternity test.
