Here is my thought. In order to bring a life into this world you shouldn't just think twice, think a 10000 times. Are you ready for all this? First of all having a child is a blessing from GOD. Those that are already pregnany and what abortion think again. Do you really what this inocent babies blood on your hands. If you saw a newborn would you throw it in a trash can? The baby in the wound is just smaller then a newborn. In order to have a child you should be READY. # 1 Do you have a comitted relationship? Someone that is going to go through thick and thin with you.#2 Are you both financially? Do you or your partner have a good job? Do you have at least couple thousand in the bank just in case?#3 Do you have a dissent car? You will really need one. #4 Do you have someone that you can count on when you need them? besides husband. A family member or a friend that will sit with the baby when you need? #5 Are you really to change your life? When you have a child it is not the same anymore. You can't do somethings you did before. Are you ready to get up 1-10 times a night? Every night can be different. And I can go on, I just wanted to hear your coments. For those that do have children, Would you agree?

Well.. - November 14

While I agree with the second half of your post, why bring abortion into it? You are asking people to really think before they have a child, that makes sense. But it also makes sense that if the pregnancy is not planned they think very carefully about all choice before them, whether it is keeping the baby, adoption, or abortion. And..."The baby in the wound is just smaller then a newborn.(I ssume you meant WOMB there, lol.)"....Yeah that's true if you are 25+ weeks. Doesn't quite make sense to someone 8 weeks pregnant. But anyway..... yes, people should really, REALLY think long and hard before TTC.

Tati - November 14

Well... That is why I wrote who really What a baby . If you are pregnant you already have a baby in the WOMB. My mistake. The reason why I first brought up abortion is because I don't what anyone to get the wrong idea about my ma__sage that is if you are not ready you could do an abortion. What about under 25 weeks does that make the baby not human any more? Answer that. If God whats life for that baby who has the right to take it way. I see it this way if it is already there even 5,8 weeks whan the heart is already beating why stop it. Even if you arn't ready to care for it. There are many couples out there that would love to care for it all you have to do is let it live.

o.O - November 14

"What about under 25 weeks does that make the baby not human any more? Answer that."....No, it makes it a fetus (or embryo at the earliest stages). I'm not going to argue your opinions on the right and wrongs of abortion, though I never have bought the arguement of "give it to a family who wants it" when we don't exactly have a shortage of orphans as it is. Though you of course are ent_tled to your opinion, but don't be surprised when bringing up the topic of abortion that you get a flurry of fights and nasty comments, thus having the main topic of your post (about being ready) getting lost...........P.S. It's WANT not what :P

Oh quit with the god drivel. Don't guilt people into ruining their lives. The smartest thing I ever did was have an abortion at 17. If I could go back in time knowing all that I know now, I'd still make the same decision.

:) - November 14

I had one at 18 and never once have I regretted it either.

but - November 14

that just make you guys heartless. killing a baby because its inconvienent is so selfish. i really dont care what u say to justify it (unless u or it could die by going on w/ the pregnancy) and as for the one who said she would make the same decision, maybe u could go back and just NOT HAVE s_x! ppl who kill their kids make me sick, just as the ones who do it before they r born. killing is killing no matter when u do it. if i was to kill a person who was pretty much a vegatable (as in no brain functions at all, breathing through a tube) i would go to prison. but because a baby isnt born yet its legal? wheres the justice in that? i dont think it should be called PRO-CHOICE BECAUSE IT HAS NO SAY IN WHETHER OR NOT IT LIVES OR DIES. HOW ABOUT PRO-MURDER OR PRO-DEATH? THAT MAKES IT MORE UNDERSTANDABLE. HOW ABOUT U STOP SUGAR COATING IT AND SAY WHAT IT REALLY IS?

:) - November 14

"i really dont care what u say to justify it" What makes you think anyone cares about justifying it to you? Freak.

yup - November 14

yup

It is a much deeper issue than you claim and certainly not so matter-of-fact as you state it. Trust me, it was not a decision I made lightly, and I'm absolutely positive that I've contemplated the philosophical and moral implications of abortion a hell of a lot more than you have. Provide me with a reasonable argument (with an emphasis on *reasonable* - one that does NOT include your religious beliefs), and I'm happy to discuss the matter with you. But so long as you spout your "you're a selfish killer, because I say it's wrong" c___p, then you're just displaying your ignorance on the matter.

curious - November 14

I do wonder why you chose to abort rather then adopt out.. I mean, wouldn't that be the MOST responsable choice?

Curious - November 14

I mean, you take responsability for your choice to have s_x, you take responsability to your obligations to the life you created, and you also take responsability for yourself, in that you don't have to have your "life ruined" by a baby when you aren't ready. At most you are "out" around a month from birth and healing... one month out of your life.. and realastically it isn't even that long! I know with the birth of my daughter I was back to wonderful health and working order in a week ( minus the sore "bottom" of course)! So one week out of your life.. That is why I don't really understand abortion.. especially in a 17 year old body where the physical risks are so few.

but - November 14

okay im not even a religious person, but lets see. ita about MORALS. you go out and have s_x, knowing pregnancy can happen. if u cant own up to what u did, you should not be having s_x. its that simple. next time it may be AIDS and there's no way to abort that. i just think its stupid to kill ur kids.

Curious to "*X*" - November 14

Do you find that an unreasonable argument?

*X* - November 14

An 8 week old fetus is *not* a child. There is very little brain development and no nervous system whatsoever. There is absolutely no reason to believe that abortion wasn't the most humane course of action. Adoption is not necessarily more humane than stopping the development of an ent_ty that has no feeling of pain and no awareness of self. Yes, it was a mistake to get pregnant - a very unfortunate mistake and the first time I'd ever had s_x in my life and protection was used - and you can bet nothing of the sort ever came close to happening again. To but - as for AIDS, you're a__suming that I was neglectful in the first place, which I was not then and never have been. Anyway, now that was years ago now. I'm 100% happy with the path my life has taken.

Curious - November 14

Sweetheart, an 8 week old fetus IS a child, it just isn't an independently functioning child. That's like saying a tree isn't a tree because it is just a sprout right now.. it's still a tree, just not grown yet. If you need to think of this child as some type of fungus or growth that you needed to get rid of, then by all means delude yourself.. but a statement that a fetus isn't a child is... irresponsable. And saying that killing it was better option then adopting it out... you're kidding, right? I mean, even people with the worst upbringing don't wish they were killed before birth! ( and those that do usually have chemicle depression issues... and even they STILL had times of joy in their lives.)

Curious - November 14

I mean, I thought you were going to have a reasonable argument.....?
