I've heard that when you b___stfeed it's very common not to get your period! I wouldn't worry about it, but doing a pregnancy test wouldn't hurt I suppose. It should come out with correct answers after 11 months.

It is pretty common not to get your period back while b___stfeeding. Have you introduced other foods at all? That is usually what sparks it to return. I took regular home pregnancy tests periodically until mine returned just to know. You can use any of the over the counter tests, it should work just the same.

My AF didn't come back for 12+ months during nursing. To get it to come back, I had to stop nursing between 1-3AM (this feeding boosts prolactin, which shuts down ovulation) and gain 5 lbs, as nursing got me super thin. Starting solids didn't help me at all. The average for a mom nursing on demand is like 14 months (I think, I'm suffering from Teflon brain currently!) Any hpt works just fine during nursing.
