My midwife told me a cup of coffee or can of pop a day won't hurt you. It all depends on how your baby reacts to you drinking it. Try one cup and see if upsets her tummy or if it upsets her nap time or bedtime. I personally have had a cup or two of coffee and I will have one can of pop sometimes during the day or one at a fast food place. I try to get something without caffeine but I need my Dew once in a while!!!! I make sure I have a full stomach or just finished nursing/pumping and then I'll have some coffee or soda. Emma doesn't seem to be bothered by it.

Thanks ladies for your replies! I was feeling kinda guilty but I really need this cup of joe. He seems to be fine with it and I wash it down with a ton of water.

Yep, keep your body hydrated with lots of water and you should be okay. I make sure I drink a couple bottles of water within a couple hours of drinking coffee or pop. Just try not to subst_tute coffee or pop with your water intake. I try to drink 4-5 bottles of water a day and then the coffee and pop is extra.
