Disposable Or Washable Nursing Pads

Right now I am using disposable nursing pads. At first they worked o.k., but now they are getting soaked through and I'm using about 3 sets per day. Are the washable ones better? Anyone tried both?

I use the lansinoh brand b___st pads. They hold a lot. One of the first pieces of advice I received about b___stfeeding was to not use washable, because it is impossible tokeep up with laundering them.

It wasn't until I recently had my fifth child that I learned there was such a thing as disposable nursing pads. Otherwise, from years ago when I had my other children, I happened to save my washable nursing pads...and, personally, I think they're better. They don't stick to me, they're not as "bunchy", and I think they breathe better.
