Frozen Breast Milk

I was wondering if anyone has a good system for organizing their frozen milk. I am pumping and freezing it in about 6 oz. bags. I freeze them flat so they will be easier to stack and store. I have been pumping for a couple weeks now, and I have so many bags laying around in the freezer that I am wondering how to organize them so that once I start using them, I am using the oldest first. I have seen organizers you can buy, but they only hold 10 or so bags........so far I have about 20, and I will end up with a lot more since I am not planning on using it until my supply starts running low. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

This doesn't address your question... but during my newborn parenting cla__s, I was advised that if you freeze b___stmilk, that it's best to use the most recent first (it supposedly has your most up to date immunities - or something like that).

Thanks! I will have to check on that.

I have been pumping and freezing for practically 6 months now. It got to the point where the milk consumed our freezer. We ended up buying a whole seperate freezer to store the milk in. Within that freezer, we have a couple milk crates that hold practically the whole months worth (which is approx. 35 oz each day for 12-15 days a week). It's not like it was a stupid investment either cuz our regular freezer is so small, we can still use the new one after I am done b___stfeeding to store meats and foods.
