Help I Have A Terrible Sinus Infection

I've been trying to do some research on the internet to find out what is ok to take, but I'm not having too much luck on finding any concrete information. For tonight my two choices are benadryl & zyrtec d, anyone know any pros/cons? If I still need something tomorrow, is one of these ok, or is there something else I should take? Thanks!

The only time I had a sinus infection, I was put on antibiotics. You should probably check with your doctor if you think it's actually an infection. On the other hand, if it's just your sinuses bothering you a lot (and believe me, I know all about that! lol) my doctor told me I can keep taking my claritin, and on occasion I can take claritin D. The "D" is the one with the decongestant, she told me if I take it too often it can decrease my milk supply. I've only taken it twice since I started bfeeding. Both times were when I knew I'd be in lots of contact with allergens, and I haven't noticed a difference in my milk supply (but I'm not willing to risk it). Still, I'd definitely talk to a pharmacist or your doctor before taking anything like that. Good luck! Sinus infections SUCK, I hope you feel better soon.

I agree with spamanda. I get horrible sinus infections and have to be put on really strong antibiotics. I would go to your doctor on this one, and see if they can suggest something even better for you than your choices listed. Neither of those work for anything for me, so I have no suggestions. Although benadryl will help you sleep :) Feel better, they are no fun.
