How Are You Warming Your Milk

i am only pumping enough to refrigerate right now. dont have enough to stick in the freezer yet. but i dont want to give my baby cold milk?? how do you warm it after it's been in the fridge? someone told me to run it under hot water for 5 minutes but when he's hungry i dont really have 5 minutes to do that??

I know they say not to do this but I have used the microwave for all four of my kids. Just shake it very well to make sure the heat is well dispersed and use gla__s to heat so you don't leak any plastic chemicals.

i know how you feel... with formula i use the microwave as well.If you want to avoid burns that way try to shake it to even out the temperature a little. But for b___st milk i end up putting it in a cup of boiling water,it takes a few minutes but the reason behind doing it another way with b___st milk is because the microwave is supposed to destroy nutrients if it is heated in the microwave. A great idea is a bottle warmer. Someone also mentioned that they kept a crock pot on and they said it warmed it surprisingly quick. i haven't tried it myself.

When we need to heat the bottle quickly (in like 5 minutes), I heat water in a mug or measuring cup in the microwave, and then put the bottle in the heated water.
