Hi there, my daughter is 2 weeks old & just unsure how many ml's aprox she can eat in one feeding? I just developed masist_ts in my right br___t due to a cracked nipple as I am having allot of problems with her latch. So I am trying to nurse her from the left & pumping the right until it heals ... but when I give her a bottle I really have no idea how much she can handle. Last night she was super hungry & drank about 75 mls of br___tmilk & then shortly after barfed it all up & I think that may have been too much for her tiny tummy. It's so hard to tell because when she nurses from the br___t the flow is slower & I let her just suck until she pulls off, but with the bottle the flow is so fast that she can suck back allot in a matter of mins. Anyway just wondering what is the average a 2-3 week old should be drinking? Thanks.

I found a chart online but it goes in weight of the baby. 5 lbs is 1.5 oz, 6 lbs is 2 oz, per feeding 7lbs is 2.5 oz, 8lbs is 3 oz, 8 lbs is 3.25 oz, 10 lbs is 3.5, 11 lbs is 3.75 oz 12 lbs is 4 oz and so on. I had trouble with my little guy throwing up as well but I have tried burping more often and that has helped him a lot..goog luck

That chart is so helpful. Our son is 10 days old and he is eating between 2 and 3 ounces per feeding, at just under 8 pounds, so I guess that is about right.
