I was just wondering if anyone has heard that you are NOT supposed to eat peanut butter while br___tfeeding? My mom said that she read that somewhere, but I have not heard anything about it--and I eat pb every morning for breakfast. Just curious if anyone has heard anything....

Hmm, I didnt hear that, but I heard to stay away from eating honey (or trying to give any to baby) ???

I just bumped the last discussion on it. I personally never heard to restrict your diet for peanuts or honey (just don't feed it directly to the baby), but you can read what folks said a while back.

Was there a post on this forum about eating peanut b___ter? Do you happen to know when? I'll see if I can find it. P.S what does "bump" mean, I've seen it before....I'm not up on my forum lingo!

"bump" just puts an old thread to the top from the archives. It is usually considered rude on messageboards, but sometimes it can be appropriate:) You'll see someone respond with only the word "bump" and they are usually looking to restart an old issue. good luck, gotta love that peanutb___ter!

Read my new message to that bumped thread. . .. And BTW, YOU can eat honey, but the BABY can't. Honey can carry botulism spores, which the adult system can disarm, but the baby's can't until they are at least a year.
