Pulling And Frustration At The Breast

My little one is getting mad at my br___t. After about 5 mins of feeding he starts turning his head from side to side and pulling back while sucking. I know that there is milk in my br___t because I can manually extract (pinch) it out with my fingers. Why is he getting so mad?

My dd used to do this when the milk was coming too fast. Then as she grew and demanded more, she did this because it was too slow. One time I think she was just using me as her toy when she really was not hungry. Her little fits seemed to last about a week. I would remove her from my b___st for a few minutes. If she was really hungry, she would get serious when I allowed her to nurse again. Hopefully it will pa__s with your lo. OR someone will come up with better advice!

My son does this as well, I think because the milk is too slow. It hurts like hell, and if I don't have a good control of his head, it goes downhill quickly. Just keep ma__saging your b___st, and/or try warm compresses or a warm shower right before and that seems to help the flow. My son also does it when he is about to have a bm (I know-tmi) so that may be why. I just let him unlatch and relatch and that seems to work. Good luck
