My daughter is 11 days old and i br___t feed, ive tried pumping so that DH can feed her as well but i can only get about 2 ounces at a time and that is usually first thing in the morning. How long till i can pump more?? i usually pump for about 20-30 mins and all i can manage to get is about 2 ounces. will this increase in time??

2 oz. is great for having an 11 day old! I remember barely getting 1/2 an ounce for the longest time. Yes it will increase as your baby gets older and she eats more. Our ped said that babies should only need about 1 1/2 ounces each feeding until at least a month old. My daughter is almost 4 months. I am working full time so I end up pumping at least 20 ounces a day in addition to what she eats when I am home.
