Slowly Switching To Formula

I am trying to slowly switch my baby to formula and wean her off the br___t. She is only 5 weeks and I would like her fully weaned by 8 weeks (i have to go back to work) Anyways, the first few times I tried formula she didnt tolerate it well. I have decided to mix it half and half with br___t milk. Then slowly start adding more formula. Is this a good idea? IT wont make her sick will it?

You can mix b___stmilk and formula. I don't know if the formula will make her sick or not. Depends on how did she not tolerate it. It made my baby sick and I haven't tried again since. But you can mix if that was your question.

I mix both and my son seems fine. I did switch to Goodstart because he seemed to tolerate that better. After the first few months he could stomach any formula. I went back to work at 6 weeks and pumped but after 8-9 months it got to be too much so now I just b___stfeed when I'm with my baby. I didn't plan to stick with it this long but I just hate spending the money on formula. Not that we would struggle to buy formula but for some reason I just can't bring myself to spend more than I have to on formula. I will however be weaning my son soon because he'll be able to have cows milk in another 1.5 months. Yeah.

Are you giving her the bottle or someone else? My son wouldn't take a bottle off me at first when I switched, but would take one off his dad.
