What Does Let Down Feel Like

I hear people talk about when they feel the milk let down. When I br___tfed I never felt any sensation like the milk coming down. I had trouble keeping up with my son and I'm wondering if I had problems with my let down reflex. Is there any way to correct this?

I only ever felt it in the opposite b___st than I was nursing from - a strong tingling feeling down the outside of the b___st.

hmm...hard to describe...like jg said...a strong tingling sensation and also kind of like the feeling when your nipples become erect.

I could not describe the feeling, but to me, it´s really painful.

I never noticed it right after Emma was born but I sure do now! If she cried it would trigger my let down and I would start leaking all over! It is like a pins and needles sensation for me. Sometime a little painful but nothing you can't handle. After 3 months they quit leaking so I don't have to wear pads anymore. I can feel my letdown at work and then I'll go and pump.
