I would like to know what prevented me from getting any br___t milk with my first pregnancy, as I am 21 weeks pregnant now with my second child and still having no br___t symptoms. My br___t didnt get bigger or sore last time and I wonder what happened.

Hmmm... I don't think b___st symptoms (or lack thereof) during pregnancy is necessarily a sign that you won't have any milk once the baby's born... I didn't have any b___st changes at all during pregnancy: no soreness, no size change, nothing. I didn't notice any difference at all until 4 days after ds was born, when my milk came in. How long did you try b___stfeeding with your first baby? I remember it seemed like my ds was on the b___st about 12 hours a day in the first few days until my milk came in... But all that sucking is what stimulated milk production, so maybe with your new baby you could try letting him/her nurse every hour or two for at least 15 minutes a b___st for the first few days, to see if that stimulates milk production. Good luck!

As Mamagoose was saying....it takes a while for the milk to come in...mine didn't come in until 4 days after dd was born. Luckily - the b___stfeeding consultant taught us - when a baby is born their stomachs are the size of a marble so the colostrum is all they need. I didn't have too many b___st symptoms...a little nipple sensitivity but no increase in size til my milk came in. I did start leaking colostrum around 28 weeks but a lot of women don't.

It took 4 days for me as well. I didn't have significant changes during pg - did go up a bra size for comfort and had soreness that would come and go...did not leak any during pg.
