What is the proper healthy way to eat if pregnant?

Hi !I am 7 weeks pregnant and I am overweight too :( but here is what I do try to eat healthy but not diet!!I drink milk,completely stopped taking tea and coffee,multigrain bread for breakfast,eat atleast 2 bowls of salad(lettuce,brocolli,snowpeas,baby spinach)with no dressing,2 servings of fruits,drink plenty of water,eat dryfruits walnuts ,almonds(in limit),our lunch and dinner consist of veggies ,whole wheat bread and rice(only for dinner) and I try to cook my veggeies in 1 teaspoon of oil.I eat at regular intervals and also keep snacks like wheatthins and wheat puffs just in case I get too hungry.Everyday after dinner I go out for walk atleast for 45 mins.Generally during weekends I let myself a little loose so that I can feed my cravings by eating out :) . As I said I started out overweight and till this point I have not hit the nausea and vommitting stuff my weight has dropped by couple of pounds but I guess I am eating well.I hope this response can help you!

Eat foods as close to their natural state as you can. Stay away from processed foods. Eat lots of veggies and whole grains. Keep consumption of dairy products down to a minimum.
