Getting A Cold What Can I Take

Hello ladies, I am 20 weeks and I caught a cold. I am stuffy into my sinus passages with a bit of a sore throat. I am in the states for a few weeks and the pharmacy is not allowed to tell me what I can take. I would try to just deal with it but I am flying home in a week and am worried about still being congested for the flight. The little pocket guide says that benadryl is ok but the pharmacist said to check with my dr. first. My dr. isn't answering so I thought I'd try this and see if anyone could help me out.

I have taken benadryl and tylenol cold - I take benadryl for skin itching and I took just regular tylenol cold and got lots of relief - I did my research on the internet - I am not one of those women who needs to hear from a doctor what is ok - I asked on here and lots of us have taken those 2 and a few of us in desperation to sleep took a shot of nyquil (not every night) just one or two nights to sleep. Once you are in your 2nd trimester a lot more things are safe and you are 20 weeks so I am sure you will be fine Good Luck

continue to get in touch with dr. and see what he/she said because it not safe to take tylenol cold and nyquil it is to strong for the baby and can harm he /she
