i did at the beginning. Talk to your OB and he may be able to perscribe a medicine. I took Zofran and it helped. I lost 20 lbs in the first 4 months...so it was pretty bad. I hope you feel better soon.

Hi...I feel your pain and as the others said, your dr should be able to help you out. I take Zofran and even with that, I am vomiting several times a day but it's an improvement over the 10-12 times I was vomiting pre-Zofran. This is my 2nd and with my 1st, I started to feel a bit better around 14-16 weeks but still needed the Zofran until around 22 weeks. Good luck and hang in there! I swore when I was pregnant with my 1st that I would never do this again but then you actually become a mom and you realize that a few months of suffering is completely worth it and so here I am going through it all again!

I had morning sickness with my current pregnancy (my second one) up until I was 5 months along!! Its different for everyone. But with my first, I had it only until my 3rd month..I think with GIRLS you have worse morning sickness, atleast that has been my case.

In my first pregnancy, I had hyperemisis gravidium. Anything I tried to eat or drink came right back up. The symptoms were so bad I was hospitalized for two months on an IV. I lost 30 pounds. They also had to run a food tube through my arm and into my chest. I lived on zofran. Twenty four hours a day seven days a week. When I was well enough to leave the hospital, they placed me on a zofran pump that ran the medicine into my veins continuously. I also had to take the food tube with me. At five and a half months I slowly was able to wean myself off the zofran and completely remove the feeding tube. I was so weak at this point I could barely get out of bed and had to basically push myself every day to go a little further. Exactly on her due date my daughter was born at 8.5 pounds. Today she is a happy girl with no medical problems what so ever. At six years old she will be entering into the second grade at a private school that is currently about two grades ahead of public school. I am now 7 weeks pregnant with my third child. Zofran has again become my good friend. I don't think I will have the severity of the symptoms I did with my first, but there is always that chance. Good luck to everyone else!

Try VITAMIN B6 and UNISOM...that's what my doctor recommended..and the UNISOM totally helps with morning sickness and nausea.

I am 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant and the morning sickness just started. I am hoping it wont get to bad. With both of my pregnancies I lost 25 to 30 pounds and with my last I had a hard time gaining wait.
