WHAT TO THINK

I posted tis same message on the 2nd trimester board too b/c I am so worried. I am currently 12 weeks and 3 days. I had an ultrasound on wed. and things looked fine. Yesterday and today I have had nothing but discomfort in my lower back and my abdomen. My tailbone feels as though it is brused and my lower ab area is crampy and feels tight at times with some pulling. I am also extremely tired. I can't sit for any length of time. I know that around the 12th week your uterus has grown drastically, but are these the symptoms of such? I called my dr. on Friday but never heard back from them. I do not have any bleeding (thank god), but my pelvic bone hurts even when I go to the bathroom sometimes (sorry tmi). I have had 2 mcs and am very praying that something is not wrong this time. Thanks for your responses. Happy Holidays. ?

Yup, I went through the same, and it's all normal. The crampy/pulling feeling is your uterus beginning to stretch - this is the point where things begin to really take off and the baby starts getting bigger. I'm not entirely sure what the lower back and tailbone pain is all about but I do know that lots of women experience it around this time. Something that will help if the skin on your abdomen is feeling tight is rubbing some body lotion or cream on it - it just means your skin is having a hard time keeping up with the growth and needs a little tlc. :)
