LILMAMA: This totally happened to me! :-) I was extremely sick during my first trimester, and the LAST thing on my mind was s_x. The thought of being bounced around and the movement of the bed was enough to make me nauseous. That particular feeling finally went away. But my s_x drive during pregnancy has been very low. I haven't had much interest in it. That's pretty normal though. Some women REALLY want to have s_x during pregnancy...and some women REALLY don't. A lot of women get an increase in s_x drive during their 2nd trimester. But even if you don't, I'm sure your normal s_x drive will come back after the baby is born.

Hi again LILMAMA: I have not really had any s_x since the m/s started at 6 weeks, I am now ten weeks! They say with the onset of morning sickness libido can virtually dissapear for women. I don't even want to think about having s_x at all. My friend who just had her second child, said it was like that for her both times, and that during the second trimeser she got her urges back with gusto!

Hi LILMAMA: I am 13 weeks on Sunday and have had a decrease in libido since I have had severe m/s since 5.5 weeks. Sometimes while having s_x I get motion sickness and have to tell DH to stop and change positions just so I won’t throw up. So I totally understand your dilemma. Unfortunately, DH is one of those guys that gets grumpy if he doesn’t get s_x 2-3 times a week…. Told him sorry… not until I start feeling better!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR REPLIES. IT HELPS ME ALOT. I HEARD THAT WE SHOULD GET OUR URGES BACK AROUND THE SECOND TRIMESTER TOO. SO I'LL KEEP IN TOUCH. LOL (10 WEEKS TODAY)
