Hi Girls, I wanted to know if anyone could help me. I found out I was prego last week. I know that we conceived on or around Dec 10, since that was the only day we BD'd prior to the crazy holidays! I went to the ER last night because I had some severe pressure and cramping. They took my HSG levels and they were 3663, up from 2000 the day before at my fertility dr. They also did an ultrasound, I've had 2 miscarriages, and they saw that it was intrauterine and the yolk sac was visible, but they saw no embryo. Is it way to early for that? I'm sooo scared!!! What are the chaces of miscarring or empty sac once you see the yolk sac. Thanks sooo much. Happy New Year. I hope DH and I have this miracle happen!

Yes, I believe it is to early to see the embryo. my last pregnancy I had an u/s at 5 weeks and they saw the yolk sac but no embryo yet. The Dr. and the u/s tech said it was to early. Hope this helps!

Th doctor at the ER should have rea__sured you and told you it is normal nto to see an embryo that early hun! You will be able to see it in a week, but not at 5 weeks. I went to the ER at 5 weeks for some spotting that t urned intoo bleeding, and they only saw the gestational sac too, btu said that was normal, and my hcg levels were normal for how far along I was. They should have scheduled a follow up appt and ultrasound the following week to make sure everything is progressing fine though. But since you haven't ahd any bleeding, you're probably okay hun!
