5 Weeks PG No Yolk Yet NORMAL

I am 5 weeks and 2 days PG. I went in for an ultrasound (because I have been spotting brown for 4 days now.) On Friday my levels were 2,000. Two days later they were at 7,000. It is now Tuesday and my ultrasound showed a gestational sac. My doctor thought she seen what was a baby, but wasn't for sure. Am I still ok? Is it still early? Any answers would be much appreciated!

Alyssa, do not worry. It is way to early to be stressing yourself out about nothing. The same thing happened to me spotting and all. I thought I was around 5 weeks but the next u/s showed that I was just earlier than I thought. You may just be early. Are you sure your dates are right? When is your next u/s? I wouldnt worry at all because it was probably just to early. Next time you go to the doc you will see the fetal pole!! If you have any questions about my experience just ask. Oh yeah, I am now 16 weeks pregnant!

I have noticed that u/s NEVER seem to show that the pregnancy is BIGGER than expected, seems to be heaps that are 'behind dates'. a gestational sac at 5 weeks is enough to see. And jessica, please do write about your experiences!

Seriously, i posted in another thread i am waiting for my next u/s, last one 5 days ago dated me as 6w1day but by lmp it should have been 7w 3 days, hb was 90 (too low) ... i have to wait two more days and am very nervous of the outcome.

I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks due to spotting and they saw nothing and said it was a Blighted ovum...2 weeks later at my next ultrasound there was my baby heartbeat and all! Dont stress..its too soon.
