7 Weeks Very Worried

I have had a miscarriage and 1 live birth. With the miscarriage the only symptom was sore br___ts. I had a missed miscarriage June 13 2006. Iwas 11 weeks but the gestational age was only 6 weeks. The br___t tenderness stayed until i actually had the miscarriage. When i was pregnant w my daughter i had severe morning sickness for over 3 months. Now im almost 7 weeks and have no sickness at all. Just the br___t tenderness and fatigue. Im very worried. Is it normal to have such severe sickness w one pregnancy and none at all with another?

I'm not going to be a ton of help as this is my first baby but I did have a miscarriage last year and my symptoms this time are different. Last year I was nauseous but this time (I'm just at 14 weeks) I have been sick as a dog with way worse (all day) morning sickness and sore b___bs and the works. HOWEVER, I don't tell you this to worry you becuase I have hope! In all this being pregnant nonsense you will find so many opinions and so much advice (not all wanted) but on this topic I have found everyone agress... NO TWO PREGNANCIES ARE ALIKE. Just cause you aren't feeling as sick this time does not mean there is anything wrong with your little bean. I can totally relate to the feelings of fear and anxiety and unfortunately those won't go away for at least 18 years and beyond, I'm told. If you are really stressed, however, talk to your doc. Hopefully you have a good one who will understand where your coming from and do some blood work for ya. Get you HCG levels checked and that should help you out. Plus you should be coming up on an 8 week apt, right? I hope that helped a little. Please try to be relaxed for your little babe and for you. Many congrats and hang in there!

I am 35 weeks pregnant with our second and I can honestly say that every pregnancy is different. You do not have to have morning sickness to have a healthy pregnancy and baby. There is absolutely no link between the two. Doctors and scientists have no idea what even causes morning sickness. Congratulations on your pregnancy. :o}

Thanks. I understand that morning sickness is not neccesery for a healthy pregnancy. Ive have heard that if you have morning sickness with one, you usually follow suite with the next.

newbaby- I have 2 live births and then this past year I had 2 m/c one at 6wks and one at 9 weeks. I know it is so hard to shake the fear after having a misscarrage!! i am now 4 weeks and a few days. with EVERY pregnancy I had very sore bb's and barley any naseua. I know they say the same women can have multiple pregnancies and have tem all be diffrent. I wouldn't let that bother you. have you had a u/s yet to see the heartbeat? Are you taking progestrine or baby asprin or anything? My doc put me on both to help fight misscarrage. I am not even telling my kids tis time untill I am at three months.

Newbaby - I've had 4 babies and 2 m/cs - at 11 and 12 weeks...Every pregnancy was generally the same....I don't really suffer m/sickness - I have nausea but normally am not sick...but with my 2nd m/c (at 12weeks) I was disgustingly sick the whole time, until 2 days before I m/ced then it all stopped - I a__sumed it was because I was going into the 2nd tri but.... :-( I don't think anything anyone says will really wipe that fear - it helps to talk but the niggles remain... I'm currently waiting to test - af was due on Wednesday - I'm never late and I feel it so....breezieb - my 2nd m/c was at the 12 week point - we always wait until then before we tell anyone...we had told our (then)3 kids we were pregnant and that night I lost it all - that was really traumatic for me/us...having to 'talk' our way out of that without upsetting the kids..sorry I've totally gotten away from the point huh? lol

Oh and some people say your symptoms are different if you're having a different s_x baby (huh that doesn't sound right!) you know what I mean - don't know how true that is - never worked for me...

I have my 1st appt. at 2:45 today. Im hoping if i voice my concerns they will do saomething to ease my fears. Though i had an ultrasound at this time w my daughter and all that could be seen was the yolk sac. No baby, no heartbeat.

iemic19- I know what ya mean my kids were 4 and 2 with both m/c and I told them both times and the first time I explained that the baby was in heaven but it didn't go over wel and the second time since their was a heartbeat I thought it would be okay so i told the and then boom..m/c..I didn't even tell them that time I just didn's say anything and when they would come kiss my belly and say I love you baby I would just say that I found out that the baby is not in there yet but that he was waiting for the perfect time and god would send him then. that seemed to went over better. I can't wait untill I tell them!!!!! I hope you are pg!!!!-----newbaby- How was your appt? i know that if there was no heart beat it is hard but like you said it can still be to early. A lot of docs won't do a ultra sound untill 8 weeks for that reason. You could ask for a beta hcg and then repeat in 2 days to see if you are rising. I have had 3 so far and I am only 5 weeks! But it helps keep me sane and I have an awesome doctor! my doc is a women who had a hard time ttc so she can relate. I have a god feeling about your lil baby though.let us know how your appt went!

Hey ya'll. My ob was definately concernred. He wrote me an order to have an ultrasound done asap. But we leave today and will be out of town til next Sunday. So i get to worry for another week. He did say my uterus measeured 6 weeks so thats good. Also, i have to have an ultrasound of my thyroid bc the right side is enlarged. What does that mean? Ive never had that before.

breezieb - June 21

I am sorry u have to worry I know that is hard! As far as the thyroid I know vry little about it other than it can affect you pg but can usally be maintined with meds and if there is aproblem with your thyroid it is really good that you found out so that from here on out you can tend to it. I just said a prayer for your health, baby, and peace of mind!

newbaby2009 - June 21

Thanks breezieb! I can only hope for the best and get my ultrasounds done as soon as we get back home.
