hi girls i had my twelve week scan the other day which was fantastic! i found out found out i have a anterior placent which means its at the front. i have read that this means it can take longer to feel baby kick. also that you can have a back labour because baby has its back to your back. also if you have a c section they have to get though placenta first.. anyone had any experience with this? with my son i dont know where my placenta was

I had an anterior placenta with my daughter. It didn't end up being a problem because it moved to the top of my uterus, which they normally do. I felt movement at 18 weeks, which isn't early but isn't late either for the first baby. I also was able to feel her kick from the outside at 19 weeks, even though I'm overweight. She was lying on her right side from 22 weeks so it wasn't an issue with her being posterior (back to back). Also I had an emergency c-section because she has a heart defect, and they didn't have to cut through it because it was up at the top of my uerus.
