Another Girl Name Opinions Please

Ok, we have way too many girl names on our plate and we keep thinking of even more that we like. The newest one is Katelee. We want something kinda unique but not off the wall or anything. I love the traditional name Kate, but I don't want it to be just that and I don't want it to be Kaylee or anything. So what if we went with Katelee Elizabeth Walsh? Please let me know what you think of this name (we're having serious trouble narrowing our choices down). Thanks!!!

Thanks so much for the response. I feel like the name is too confusing too but wanted to see what others thought of it. I really like the name Kaitlyn and Katheryn. Kaitlyn is on our list of names because we just both love the name Kate (or Katie when she's younger). Again thanks for the reply!

Yea I love the name Kaitlyn. It is also an Irish name and would match our very Irish last name! Maybe Kaitlyn Elizabeth Walsh? We've also thought of Kelly Elizabeth Walsh (kelly was my maiden name... and a very Irish name at that). We don't have to stick with Irish but since that is both my and my husbands heritage, it might be neat to stick with something like that. We're are just having a terrible time narrowing down the names! Thanks for the response!

How funny my daughters name is Kimberly Elizabeth Kelley. Let me ask you a question. My husband is big on Irish names as well and if we have a boy he wants to name him Liam Patrick Beardslee. What do you think? I'm having a hard time with it, but I would like another opinion.

I think that is a cute name. Liam would have to grow on me a bit but it's still cute. A lady in the August due date forum has decided to name her baby Sean Patrick because of its Irish - ness : ). There are a lot of good Irish boy names if you want to still think of some more. I just think it's really neat when you can kind of incorporate your heritage into your childrens names. Let me know what ya'll decide!

I love Irish names as well (Duh, my name is Erin!! haha). Kelly is a little less popular than Kaitlyn. After I named my daughter I seemed to hear a lot of kids named Cate, Kate, Katie, Caitlin, Kaitlyn.....our neighbour just named her daughter Katelyn. I like Kelly. Then your maiden name gets to live on as well. Good Luck!!

Hey Lovestruck - My daughter's name is Cate Elizabeth so I'm not an impartial judge on that! Of course I love it. I can tell you that there are NO other Cates in her cla__s, in any form so it's a good choice for orginality. There a alot of McKennas, Jennas, Chloes tho, so I think even if you went w/some form of the Katherine names you'd be fine.. . . Please don't take this the wrong way, this is just my opion (which you asked for) when I first hear Katelee it sounds a little southern. Like it should be 2 names. So her full name would sound like 4 names. But by all means if you're in Love w/the name then go for it.

haha thanks girls so much. Diva i'm not in love with the name at all. It kinda popped into my mind the other night and now it's just not working. You know how pregnancy hormones work. I do know what you mean about it sounding too southern. I really think I'm starting to like either Kaitlyn Elizabeth Walsh or Kelly Elizabeth Walsh. I think Kelly would be neat b/c then my name is still in there. At one point we were going to go with Macy, but I think we have decided against that one. It just didn't fit for us. Thanks again everyone for your honest opinions! With my luck, the names will change again about 50 more times before we even find out if its a girl or not!

Why not just name her Kate? I love it!

I like Kelly Elizabeth, it rolls better than Kaitlyn E. .....too bad Macy is gone, i really do like that name. but i know what you mean on how a name had to "fit" your family's style. you're way ahead of me, i have maybe 3 names in mind!
