Anxiety During Pregnency

Hello, I am 81/2 weeks pregnant, and have been experiencing what I think are panic attacks before bed and when I wake up in the middle of the night. I also had a week where my husband would leave for work and I would cry at the front door for him and then freak out about being alone in my house. (the house that I grew up in and bought from my parents). Help! Any soothing, calming, advice would be very welcomed!

Oct4gal- I think its probably your emotions b/c of the hormonal changes going on in your body. I felt really strange like that the first couple weeks after I found out I was pregnant. I was a feeling of being really vulnerable. I am not the type to be needy or dependant, but I also felt really wierd like that. I think it will get better the later on you go in pregnancy. If it does not get better for you in the upcoming weeks you may want to talk to you doc about it. I read that some women get depressed during pregnancy. Anyway, just try to think positive thoughts, and know you are not alone (tons of women go through this all the time). Hope you feel better.
