This is my first pregnancy and I am looking for people to talk to share experiences and basically a support group. I am 34 years old and didn't realize what a scary experience this really is.

I am due the first part of december. i am 24 and i totally agree that this is scary. this is my first pregnancy also. i mean i love the experience, but i freak out over every little thing and its driving me crazy. luckily i have a very understanding husband!

Nice to meet you Lauren. I understand the frecking out. Everything was going great until this morning. I have mild cramping and brown spotting. The more I read on what women have written it seems that others are experiencing the same thing. So I shouldn't be so nervous but I feel as if I have no control. Hopefully we can be a good support group for each other.

Yes definetly! so, were u ttc and if so, for how long? this was our first month at ttc. lucky us. what symptoms have you experienced so far?

Actually this was a honeymoon baby. A little unexpected but very much loved already. I have had alot of nasuea but not vomiting. Sunday was my first day of true morning sickness and I felt like a truck ran over me, Monday was the same way. Today I feel better except for the small cramping and slight brown bleeding. A little b___st tenderness nothing major. But anytime pressure is applied to my stomach, tight pants, seat beat I want to puke. Unfortunately I can't wear any of my clothes. I started growing out of my clothes around week 5. What about U?

I started feeling sick yesterday and today. Never actually thrown up yet. I found it a good idea to eat a little snack like every two hours to keep something in my stomach. I have had headaches, cramps, backaches, dizziness, and lightheadedness a lot for about 2 weeks. A little b___st tenderness also and blue veins popping up on my chest more and more each day. I wish I could just sleep 24/7 too. I have also noticed a bulge right below my belly b___ton. My clothes are getting snug-probably because I am SO bloated. I find myselt wearing pj's and stretchy pants all the time now. I'm relieved to hear that someone else doesn't fit into her clothes. My sister just had a baby and swore to me that I wouldn't need maternity clothes until I was 5 months like she was. I guess I am an early shower. Lucky me :-)

I am due november 29 also!!! ALso, feeling pretty much the same as you Pamela. Today has been a little better though a far as the morningsickness goes. I went to bed last night at 7:30 and slept till 5:30 this morning.. very unusual for me, I usually sleep 7.5 hours every night, almost exactly. Found that carbs really help with the m/s.. lots of noodles & pasta! This is my first too, I'll be 29 in june.

I am due Nov. 30th. If everything goes right, this will be my second child. I had a miscarriage at the beginning of February so I am a little nervous...make that a lot nervous! I never had a period between my miscarriage and this pregnancy. I have had some mild nasuea and some spotting. I have also been very tired with sore b___sts. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I am afraid to tell anyone that I am pregnant again.

I'm 6wk 3d and I'm due Dec 4th, this is my first pregnancy as well! Have any of you started telling people yet - close family etc?

Lynn - April 13

We aheven't told anyone yet. I go for my first u/s on 4/21. By then I will be 8w2d. I was thinking that if everything went well there & we saw a strong heartbeat & all then we would start telling people. I just read yesterday that if you see a strong heartbeat @ 8 weeks on an ultrasound & everything looks normal, then there is only like a 3% chance of miscarriage at that point. Originally I wanted to wait until 12 weeks, but when I read that info I started thinking about maybe telling people early. Most of our friends are going to guess it anyway, my husband & I really like to party so everyone is going to think it's strange that I'm not drinking & stuff.

Kate, I'm due Nov. 30, and I've told people. First of all, I'm a blabber mouth, and this is my first. OUr parents as well as my school know (I'm a teacher), and that's about it. I figured that if something were to happen, they would need to know anyway... I would want them to know. I haven't told everyone, however. BUT its a personal decision. I've had friends tell me right away, and I've had friends wait. There is no CORRECT thing to do.

Kate - April 13

We agreed not to tell anyone until it was a bit safer, mainly due to the fact both my sisters-in-law recently lost babies at 6 and 8 weeks, it seems to be so common, but it's so difficult to keep your mouth shut about it!!! At the moment both my sisters-in-law are pregnant, one is due on July 6th and the other is due August 25th. I think maybe we'll end up waiting until we've had the first scan (got my first appointment with the doctor tomorrow so haven't even had the pregnancy confirmed yet!) and if everything's OK then we might tell our families and close friends earlier than at 12 weeks!
