Anyone Else Have Any Spotting

I had some brown spotting today and went to the ER. They did an u/s and bloodwork and said everything was fine. The u/s measured me correctly as 8.5 weeks and a heartbeat of 63bpm. I just came home and there is still more brown spotting, more like brown discharge? Does this mean I am having a m/c? Im so confused.

What did they say about the heart rate? Was it normal? It seems a bit low for 8.5 weeks. I don't mean to frighten you, but I'm not sure what the normal heart rate is for that time in pregnancy.

I had spotting from week 4 to week 8. I am now 14 weeks and everything is fine. I have read that 50% of women who spot miscarry and the other half don't. I guess I got lucky (or blessed ) and I hope you are too. I think its a good sign the baby is measuring right on target.

Hi! I had a scare like that last week, I was 5w1d at the time and I spotted light pink and brown for about 5 days. U/S showed that everithing is OK. Dr told me that it happens and that it could be implatation bleeding and as long it is brownI should not worry. I hope that everithing will be OK in your case too. I read somewhere that a heart rate should be 130-160 bpm, are you sure about the heart rate?

Both the u/s tech and doctor said the heartbeat was in a normal range. Myabe she said 163 and not 63, I could have heard wrong since I was so upset. All i remember is them rea__suring me that everything was ok. My spotting stopped today and no more cramping.

Hi! kristenk0329, It is good to hear you are alright. I'm sure that you missed that 1 in front 63. They would not asy everithing is fine if the heart rate is realy that low.
