Anyone Else With Really Achy Groin Scared

I started with some cramping (mild) and then my groin started aching and hasn't stopped for the past 1 1/2 hours. I'm hoping this is normal, but scared because I m/c in Nov. Any thoughts? PS. I had a little very slight brown discharge, but it's gone now.

Hi Patti....I did have cramping at the beginning of my pregnancy - around 4 weeks....it lasted till about 6 weeks- off and on....now I'm almost 12 weeks and I have an achy tailbone when I do a lot of walking or standing....and today I've experienced an achy area kindof between my groin area and where my leg connects to my body. Wierd huh....but many people have told me that there is so much change taking place in our bodies at this time, making room for the uterus....our pelvic bones are shifting as well as other areas...so don't be alarmed.....brown discharge isn't usually something to be too worried about. I haven't experienced this but have heard that only red blood should cause for alarm. But if you are really concerned, call your doctor. Hope I've helped a bit! Good luck!

Thanks AD. You made me feel so much better! I did stop cramping and I haven't seen any more brown c/m. I got my hcg beta run today, so I'll know more tomorrow when I get the results.

Hi Patti and AD. I am 12 weeks pregnant. I had an m/c in April. I have cramps constantly and I'm scared to death. The doctor told me that cramping is normal even if it feels like menstrual pain. It means that the baby is growing and that he/she is interacting with you. Since yesterday I am also having pain in my groin and I also have an achy tailbone. Reading your posts made me calm down a bit. I wish you both healthy pregnancies and beautiful babies. Sending lots of baby dust .
