Anyone Have Morning Sickness Go Away At 8 Weeks

I have had bad morning sickness for 2-3 weeks now. It lasts most of the day, usually vomiting about 3-4 times, today, not even once... I started taking b6 3or 4 days ago... do you think it could be THAT effective or is there a problem that my symptoms so suddenly ceased. I have an appointment on Wednesday but I will probably call on Monday. Have any of you had such drastic results from b6?

Around 8 - 10 weeks your HCG hormone levels off and then starts to decrease. Many women notice that their symptoms disappear. It is perfectly normal. B6 also helps with m/s so that may be affecting it as well. Be thankful...My m/s lasted until I was 16 weeks pregnant and it was horrible! I'm glad you have had some relief!

Pretty much all of my symptoms went away at 8-9 weeks. As stated above, my doctor confirmed also that your hormones drop at this time. My doc calls this the 'honeymoon period' and to enjoy it while it lasts.

If it is just a honeymoon period does that mean it comes back? If so, as bad as before?

hi lizzylou - with my first son i had M/S so severe that it lasted the whole 9 months up until the day i delieved him. this time around i had severe M/S for 3-4 weeks top and then all of a sudden it started disappearing - Deb is right at around your 8th - 10th week the harmones begin to level off so don't be alarmed. and yes perhaps the b6 that you're taking might have helped. i've been on diclectin ever since i started having my M/S unfortunately, i still need the 1 tablet a day to help me though the day. so good luck and relax :)
