B6 For Morning Sickness

Has anyone had any luck taking vitamin B6 to help ease m/s? My doctor sent home a list of meds that are safe and this was one of them. It said 25mg, 3X a day, for 3 days. I was wondering if I should give it a try.

Hi Kristin- my Naturapath has me on B5, and I have only had mild waves of nausea that pa__s quickly- and actually, I'm 10 weeks and 5 days now, and for the past week or so I haven't had any nausea. B5 and B6 are different, but perhaps it's just something in B vitamins that helps? Definately give it a try, it won't harm anything! Good luck!

I have severe m/s and It seemed like nothing worked but i have tried sea bands that did take the nausea away somewhat. I was also told to drink ginger tea. I did and belive it or not it worked. it taste terrible but it does soothe the nausea feeling. So try those to things they seemed to work for me. Godd l;uck!

I notice a difference with B6, but it doesn't take the nausea away completely. I still take it at 19 weeks for the queasiness every now and then. It is true though you need to continually take it for it to last through the day, like two or three times.

My doctor tolad me to take a 1/2 Unisom twice a day. I can get by only takiing it at night most of the time. It really works though. That and getting plenty of rest.
