I made love the night before last and when I went to the loo last night I found light pink blood when I wiped but no pain, today when i got up I found small amount of blood on the pad and it is there when I wipe, it is dark red but no clots and no pain at all. this is my 4th pg i m/c dec at 12 weeks and have 2 sons 13 and 16 yrs, when I m/c last year I had pain in my lower stomache and cramps but no cramps this time. could I be m/c again? or could this be normal? please any sugestions would help thanks.

jue--I understand why you are scared, I had m/c last year too, and every cramp/twinge is scaring me to death (just in my fifth week of pregnancy now!) You should call your doctor, but just so you know, my doctor warned me that I might have some brownish blood after intercourse and not to worry about that at all. I am not how sure your darkish red blood is, but it sounds like it could be related to intercourse. Good luck!!!

thanks enail, I called my dr this morning and they said i should put my feet up and relax and try not to worry ( fat chance of not worrying lol), they also said it could be a "fragile pg" whatever that is?. I am still running (sorry walking) to the loo to pee every 5 mins, still feel sick (especially when getting fuel in the car), b___bs still ache and still have a headache, if I was m/c wouldn't the pg symptoms have eased (they almost vanished overnight when I m/c in dec), and the bleeding has eased off but not stopped. thanks

I have a question: should i be worried if i have a pinkish cm after i wipe after bm?? just wondering cause i only see this when i wipe and its freaking me out. anyone know if i should worry or if its nothing?

You should probably call your doctor and make sure everything is OK. Better safe than sorry. This maybe tmi, but since it is after BM, maybe the blood is from constipation?

lashunda - June 7

sorry, what is tmi??

to lashunda - June 7

too much information! (tmi)

oh okay, could it also be implantation bleeding?

I'm sorry, I am confused, you are not pregnant?

lashunda - June 8

yes, i'm 41/2 weeks, but i heard some women have implantation bleeding in the beginning?

to lashunda - June 8

I have not heard of implantation bleeding happening that late, but I could be wrong. Sometimes women will spot a bit during the time they would have gotten their period, so maybe that is what is going on with you. Good luck!

lashunda, the bleeding that you have can be old blood or it can be for your cervix. The cervix gets very sensitive when you are pregnant When you have s_x the p___s is hitting the cervix and you will have some spotting sometimes. Or if you are constipated and pushing yourself to have a bm that will cause you to bleed as well. That's why if you experience bleeding with s_x you need to take a break. And if you experience bleeding with constipation. Eat alot of cherry's or prunes. Or even have a cup of warm prune juice.

alright, thanks for the tips!!

Great news earlier I went from red blood to brown to nothing, fingers crossed it has stopped. I will still see the dr and midwife in the morning but it looks like I was bleeding because of s_x. well no s_x for the next 6 to 8 weeks for me, I am not happy as I really want to get laid, I realy hate these pg hormones at the moment lol.
