i am 11w today. i still don't feel as if i have bonded with my baby. this wasn't a planned p/g and i have had severl m/c in the last few years. i should be happy but i just don't feel pg i feel detached i guess. is this normal? when did you all start feeling bonded with ur little one?

don't worry..everthing shold be ok.atleast when your baby starts kicking around and plaing inside you.but i sit with my little on'e u\s for several hours though it is only 10mm now.i am only 6w now.keep going.yu will do great soon

i think it is hard in the beginning because you have no signs that there is a baby. no belly and you cant fel the baby moving. soon as you get those you will bond. you will do just fine when you look in your angels eyes whether it was planned or not!! goodluck!

I think it is normal not to feel attached right away.... especially if you've miscarried before. Just wait until you feel him/her moving though. Then it will feel real! My mom told me that she didn't "bond" with her babies until they were born. Everyone is different.

This is my first time being pregnant for me so this whole thing was unreal. I didn't even feel pregnant untill I saw the ultrasound where I was shown my baby's heartbeat, it was really amazing and I have felt somewhat of a bond ever since . Also if you get a chance to hear your baby's heartbeat it will make you feel a little more connected also.
